Hamel Baseball

Rookie is a developmental league that builds upon what was learned in Coach Pitch in an organized setting. At this level the players will be playing on a baseball diamond and use a pitching machine to hit from. There will be at least one weekend in Mid-June as an opportunity to travel and play teams from other towns.

The Rookie league is on a Tuesday / Thursday schedule.

Players who are age 7 and have already completed two seasons of Hamel Coach Pitch are invited to register for Rookie.

We are looking for individuals who wish to be head or assistant coaches. Please be aware that you need to complete a Little League mandated background check before you can be a coach.

The Hamel Athletic Club is looking for one or two individuals who can help coordinate the Rookie league for the 2012 season. At this time, the Coordinators main responsibility will be to help answer questions that the parents and players may have throughout the season.
