Hamel's 8U All-Star team competed in the Jim Foster Jamboree during the week of July 8 - 11, 2019 hosted by Golden Valley Little League at Isaacson Park. The team of Rookie League players faced a steep learning curve moving from machine pitch during the regular Hamel season to kid pitch for this Jamboree. A combination of strong pitching, aggressive base running, some key hits and a sharp defense led the team to a record of 3 - 0 during the week. The team met tough opposition in two different teams from Northland Little League and a team from Golden Valley Little League.
