2026 SPRING/SUMMER Season Registration

Registration for 2026 Spring/Summer is closed and waitlists are full (with the exception of T-Ball).

WELCOME TO THE 2026 HAMEL BASEBALL SPRING/SUMMER SEASON REGISTRATION!

This registration is for Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, Rookie, Minors, and Majors levels. This season will run from Mid-July to late August. Our registration process is NEW. Please review the following information carefully before registering.

NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS

You must create an account or log in to your Sports Connect account to access the registration. If you are not logged in, sign in to Sports Connect at the upper right corner and choose Register My Players.

Due to increased interest in Hamel Baseball, for our spring season which runs from late April through the end of June, all players registering to play T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Rookie, Minors or Majors, must reside or attend a school within the boundary.  If you do not meet those requirements, you can still register but will be placed on the waiting list and will only be added to a team if space is determined to be available.

Any player aged 9-12 whose primary residence or school is within this boundary or has continuously played in Hamel Little League since they were age 7 (prior to 2026) is eligible for All-Stars in Hamel Little League (should they be nominated and accept the nomination).

For our Summer/Fall season which usually starts mid-July and runs through the end of August, there is no residency or school boundary requirement and players from any location are welcome to participate. 

PRIORITY REGISTRATION OPENS ON JANUARY 6 AT 8:00 PM CST

We are offering priority registration due to the high level of demand we expect and our desire to ensure that as many of our community's young athletes have an opportunity to play in the Hamel Baseball program as possible. Priority registration is available exclusively to:
  • Residents of the City of Medina
and/or
  • Hamel Baseball players that registered for our 2025 spring/summer season, including siblings

IMPORTANT: Hamel Baseball reserves the right to cancel registrations made during the Priority Registration period if one of the above criteria is not met.
 

REGULAR REGISTRATION OPENS ON JANUARY 8 AT 8:00 PM CST

Registration opens to everyone at this time.

Please set a reminder to register. We expect that most leagues will fill very quickly!

Please understand that Hamel Baseball is a 100% volunteer-run organization. We strive to provide the opportunity for a well-organized, fun, competitive baseball experience for as many of our community's young athletes as we can. However, we are limited in terms of the fields we have access to and the amount of daylight hours. Additionally, we believe spending time with family is important, so we limit the vast majority of baseball activities to weekdays and leave weekends to enjoy with family.

If registration fills up, please add yourself to the waitlist. Our goal is to be in communication with you within a week regarding your standing.

COACH REGISTRATION

While you will have the ability to register as a coach when registering your player(s), you may also come back and register as a coach after completing the player(s) registration.

WEATHER

Please note that Hamel Baseball does not control the weather! In the event of inclement weather, we will provide updates on our website homepage by 4 pm. We are in constant contact with the City of Medina (all fields are owned and controlled by the city) to ensure the best experience for the kids. Tremendous improvements have been made in recent years to the fields at Hamel Legion Park. Little League International and the City of Medina have policies in place to protect players from injury and the fields from damage due to the weather. Hamel Baseball reserves the right to add or subtract games or practices due to weather conditions. Weekend play may be considered if there are a large number of weather-related cancellations.
